Pierre Lazarus is a cybersecurity and infrastructure leader with a track record of scaling secure, high-performance systems for fast-growing technology companies. He currently serves as Technical Operations Manager at Telnyx, where he leads both IT and Security Operations across a global footprint—including offices in Amsterdam, Dublin, Chicago, and Denver.
With experience at organizations like Uber, Netflix, SurveyMonkey, MessageBird, Holland Startup, and Burning Man, Pierre has consistently operated at the intersection of growth, innovation, and operational excellence. His career spans IT leadership, program management, compliance, endpoint security, and cloud infrastructure.
Pierre has guided companies through successful SOC 2, SOC 3, ISO 27001/27701, PCI DSS, and Data Privacy Framework audits, and is now spearheading Telnyx’s HIPAA and HITRUST initiatives—including oversight of AI systems within regulated environments.
A dual citizen of the U.S. and the Netherlands, Pierre brings a global perspective and deep cross-cultural fluency to his work. He holds multiple certifications, including CISSP, SSCP, and CC (ISC²), and is passionate about helping organizations solve real-world security and operational challenges through scalable, pragmatic solutions.
In addition to his corporate work, Pierre is the founder of Lazarus Lightworks, a creative studio focused on immersive laser art and audiovisual experiences. Blending technology, music, and light, his work has been featured at events and venues across Europe.
